3. The properties of the components of proteins molecular vector machines

 

Let's remind, that the model of molecular vector machine, proposed above, consists of the following parts:

 

- The system of vectors, which are localized in the structure of the dodecahedron;

- The canonical set of amino acids side-chains (exchangeable physical operators);

- The i-th tetrahedral alpha-carbon atom to which exchangeable side chains of amino acids are attached;

- Amino acids pentafragment of the protein main chain.

 

In this section will be made an attempt to have a new look as to these parts of the MVM, first of all to properties of selected vectors, as well as to the features of the side chains of amino acids. In this section we shall consider only the most elementary aspects of this research.

 

The most important thing in the proposed direction we consider the possibility of using for the vectors and for implementing their action side chains of amino acids  the group-theoretical approach. Its tfruitfulness on the underlying physical layer, in quantum mechanics, has been shown long time ago [16]. First of all the mathematical properties of vectors will be examined (Section 3.1.).
